My Journey

The roots of my journey to UX/UI design can be traced back to the end of school days. In my late teens, I found myself torn between two career paths: social work and the art and design world. Eventually, I made the decision to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art Media, graduating with a first class honours.

However, even as I delved into the world of art, my deep interest in people and their well-being remained ever-present. This can be seen in my final year exhibition and thesis, which was centred around the transformative power of art as a form of therapy.

Following my graduation, I worked as a digital content creator for a start-up, mobile advertisement company. However, my desire for exploration and a thirst for experiencing new cultures led me to embark on a three year world adventure. My travels took me across Asia, New Zealand, and Canada and was funded by freelance art work along route.

In November 2020, I made the decision to settle in Wiesbaden, Germany, my partner's hometown. This presented the perfect opportunity to finally put my ambition into practice and formally kick-start my career in UX/UI Design.

When I'm not immersed in design or exploring the great outdoors with a cup of coffee in hand, you can find me pursuing my other passion - painting.
